These include, but are not limited to; AEROBICS, HIIT, CARDIO, YOGA, DANCE etc We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Facility Officer Location: Lokogoma, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Duties and Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance and Operations: You shall supervise the cleaners and their jobs and ensure that the facility, including workout areas, and common spaces, are well-maintained and clean. Conduct regular inspections of gym equipment, workout areas, locker rooms, and common areas. You shall supervise the securities and ensure that they are carrying out their duties diligently. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the gym facility. Ensure all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are in proper working condition. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for gym equipment and facility assets. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Implement and monitor safety procedures within the facility. Ensure the facility complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Ensure emergency equipment and safety measures are functional and accessible. Report and document any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues. Cleaning and Housekeeping Oversight: Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness across the facility. Monitor cleaning schedules for gym floors, equipment, restrooms, locker rooms, and reception areas. Ensure adequate cleaning supplies and materials are available. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Supervise contractors during maintenance or installation works. Liaise with external vendors and service providers for facility repairs and maintenance. Ensure vendors adhere to agreed service standards and timelines. Inventory and Asset Management: Monitor the condition and usage of gym equipment and facility assets. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing. Track facility supplies and ensure timely replenishment. Member experience: Support: Ensure the facility environment is welcoming, safe, and conducive for members. Promptly address facility-related complaints or issues raised by members or staff. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience: with management systems or CRM tools is an added advantage. Knowledge of facility maintenance, safety procedures, and equipment management. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 – 4 years experience: in facility supervision, preferably within a gym, hospitality, or service environment.
