The Spa Therapist will be responsible for delivering a range of professional spa and wellness treatments in accordance with organization's standards. Key Responsibitlies Spa & Wellness Treatments: Deliver professional spa treatments in accordance withapproved procedures and service standards. Provide professional aftercare guidance following treatments. Conduct appropriate pre-treatment consultations to understand guest preferences, expectations, and relevant considerations. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, organised, and properly equipped before each appointment. Perform massage and body treatments appropriate to your training and competence. Select and use appropriate products, techniques, and equipment for each treatment. Adjust treatment techniques appropriately based on guest feedback and approved treatment protocols. Guest Experience: Check guest comfort and respond appropriately to feedback. Communicate clearly with guests throughout the treatment. Welcome guests warmly and create a calm, professional, and relaxing environment. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary. Contribute to creating a memorable Maison Thél experience. Build positive relationships with guests while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, discretion, and respect. Treatment Recommendations: Educate guests on available treatment options without making inappropriate medical claims. Recommend appropriate treatments based on guest needs and preferences, within your training and scope of practice. Identify opportunities to recommend complementary services where genuinely beneficial to the guest. Understand the range of services offered by the Facility. Support the front desk team in creating appropriate treatment plans and packages for returning guests. Hygiene, Safety & Professional Standards: Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards before, during, and after every treatment. Maintain appropriate professional appearance and personal hygiene at all times. Properly clean and disinfect treatment equipment and work areas. Report damaged equipment, product shortages, or safety concerns promptly. Follow Maison Thél's policies and operating procedures. Ensure all treatment materials and products are stored correctly. Follow all approved health, safety, hygiene, and infection-prevention procedures. Product & Equipment Management: Handle spa equipment correctly and according to manufacturer or company guidelines. Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to the required standard. Monitor treatment supplies and inform the appropriate team when replenishment is required. Use treatment products responsibly and minimise unnecessary wastage. Report faulty or damaged equipment immediately. Guest Retention & Business Support: Support promotional activities, packages, and wellness initiatives when required. Support guest retention by delivering consistent, high-quality treatments. Contribute to rebooking and repeat-visit opportunities. Work collaboratively with the Front Desk & Guest Experience: team to ensure smooth guest journeys. Encourage guests to maintain appropriate treatment routines where relevant. Build strong relationships with returning guests.
