The ideal candidate will have strong experience: with Java and Spring Boot, database management, API development, and transaction-based systems, with exposure to fintech or payment solutions being an advantage. The Backend Developer will be responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining secure and reliable backend systems and APIs. What You'll Do Collaborate with the CTO, MD, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable backend solutions. Write, test, debug, and maintain production-ready code while supporting system performance and reliability. Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Build and integrate APIs while working with relational databases, JPA/Hibernate, authentication, authorization, and secure API practices. Develop and maintain reliable transaction processing systems, including handling failed transactions, reversals, duplicates, settlement, reconciliation, and transaction integrity. Who You Are Strong experience: with REST APIs, SQL / relational databases, JPA / Hibernate, Git, authentication / authorization, testing, error handling, and transaction management. Experience: with Docker, CI / CD, or cloud platforms is an advantage, with strong debugging and production support skills. Experience: with Node.js / TypeScript, Python, C# / .NET, or equivalent backend technologies is an advantage. Possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4 – 5 years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
