Our client is seeking an experienced and technically competent Printing Machine Operator to join its production team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience: operating and maintaining the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 SLX1 or a closely related offset printing press, with a strong understanding of print quality, machine settings, production processes, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: Monitor printing operations and ensure consistent print quality. Perform colour matching, registration, and necessary adjustments during production. Work closely with the Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams. Maintain accurate production records and report machine faults promptly. Ensure proper handling and feeding of printing materials. Meet daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards. Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine. Conduct routine checks and basic troubleshooting to minimise machine downtime. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and production procedures. Set up the machine according to job specifications and production requirements. Operate the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 SLX1 efficiently and safely. Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets. Experience: in a manufacturing, packaging, or commercial printing environment is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot common machine and printing issues. Strong knowledge of offset printing processes and machine setup. Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience: operating a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 or similar offset printing press.
