We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Content & Editorial Lead Location: DIL HQ-Lagos Job Summary The Content & Editorial Lead will lead the planning, development, editing and publication of high-quality digital content for Dangote Group. The role will translate the Group's business priorities, corporate messages and stakeholder interests into compelling, accurate and consistent stories across websites, social media, WhatsApp channels and other digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Establish content governance frameworks and quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional communications initiatives across business units. Build team capability and ensure continuous improvement in digital communications practices Provide editorial leadership for digital campaigns and real-time communications support. Drive executive visibility across appropriate digital platforms. Develop and execute the Group's digital content strategy and editorial planning. Oversee performance measurement, reporting, and analytics by preparing periodic editorial reports covering delivery against plan, content performance, pipeline status, quality risks and recommended actions. Manage budgets, vendors, agencies, and digital technology partners. Lead corporate storytelling and copy development initiatives. Lead digital crisis communications and rapid response efforts. Key Requirements: Education: and Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience: in editorial management, corporate communications, journalism, digital content or brand storytelling, including experience: coordinating multi-channel content. A relevant master's Degree or professional certification is an advantage. Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media or a related discipline. Experience: working in a large, diversified organisation, reputable media organisation or communications agency is desirable. Demonstrable portfolio of high-quality corporate, editorial and digital writing. Functional Competencies: Ability to translate complex business information into clear audience-appropriate content. Working knowledge of content management systems, social publishing tools, SEO principles and web analytics. Strong editorial judgement, fact-checking discipline and attention to detail. Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong stakeholder management, briefing and approval coordination skills. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling capability. Content strategy, editorial calendar management and publishing workflow coordination. Understanding of corporate reputation, crisis communications and executive communications. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and collaborative workflow tools.
