We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Policy & Regulatory Reporting Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Objectives To support the organization's compliance function by ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory and statutory requirements: through the development and maintenance of AML / CFT policies, effective regulatory engagement, timely submission of regulatory reports, and proactive monitoring of regulatory changes. The role is responsible for coordinating compliance projects, managing relationships with regulatory and law enforcement agencies, maintaining regulatory approvals and internal policies, and providing compliance advisory support to business units to promote a strong culture of compliance across Unified Payments. Duties & Responsibilities: Create and update AML / CFT policies and procedures and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Keep track of all Unified Payments licenses/regulatory approvals and ensure prompt action is taken for renewal. Track and follow-up on pending requests from/to regulatory authorities and LEAs and ensure timely closure. Cross functional collaboration to ensure smooth interface and communication with agencies of government. Compliance exception tracking to ensure remediation with timeline. Provide guidance to business teams on regulatory changes. Serves as programme officer for the compliance department responsible for all compliance related projects, liaison and effective management of internal and external examinations and assessments. Maintain UP’s internal policy repository. Receive and coordinate timely response to LEAs and regulatory agencies pertaining to the compliance programme of Unified Payments. Liaise with team members and other departments to prepare and submit regulatory returns/reports within timelines. Develop and maintain a compliance rule-book, monitor and track regulatory changes ensuring policy update and compliance. Any other task that may be assigned by the supervisor or the CCO. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Law, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional certification in compliance such as DCP, CAMS, ICA, CFE.
