Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, general ledger postings, financial controls, and timely month-end/year-end closures. Lead fundraising and financing activities, while overseeing wallet reconciliation, transaction settlements, and resolution of related financial discrepancies. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, with actionable financial analysis. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account management, facilities, funding, documentation, transactions, and compliance, while coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and regulators. Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance; oversee tax filings and statutory returns, lead audit preparation, and implement effective accounting policies and best practices. Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights for cost optimization and business growth. Manage treasury operations, daily cash positions, liquidity, cash flow forecasting, working capital, payments, approvals, and disbursements. Requirements: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial controls, with experience: in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling, with hands-on experience: using accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP tools.
