We are recruiting for the Finance leadership development role at FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must have a basic understanding of accounting principles, strong numerical and analytical skills, and possess excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Learning how to carry out financial analysis to determine product/branch viability Understudying managers/supervisors in the accounting/finance/audit cadre, to acquire a good understanding of both technical and soft skills. Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records. Assisting with the preparation of departmental budgets. Learning how to develop an effective internal audit strategy Learning the bookkeeping & accounting, and audit processes within the organization. Learning how to conduct independent and risk- based audits Assisting in the preparation of management accounting reports, for ease of decision making by managers Learning how to work as part of the accounting/finance team to compile and analyze data, track information, for ease of internal and external audits. Learning how to use relevant software. Learning how to determine risks and its maturity Requirements: Critical-thinking skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data. Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications Minimum graduating GPA of second class lower Excellent analytical skills Age limit- 27 years Strong academic record A strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude, and genuine passion for excellence Strong quantitative skills Ability to be a collaborative team player Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects Student Membership of ICAN, ACCA, CFA, is an added advantage.
