We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Digital Enterprise Development, Branding and Market Access Trainer Location: Abuja, Hybrid Employment Type: Contract (6 Months) Reports To: Project Coordinator Duty Station: As assigned within the project locations Job Summary The role focuses on empowering trainees with entrepreneurial, branding, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and market access skills that enhance employability, business competitiveness, and economic inclusion. The Trainer will facilitate interactive learning sessions, mentor participants, support business idea development, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the NDE-KTL Digital Employability and Enterprise Skills Training Programme. The Digital Enterprise Development, Branding and Market Access Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering practical, competency-based training that equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to establish, manage, brand, market, and scale sustainable digital and traditional enterprises. Key Responsibilities: Training Delivery: Deliver practical sessions on digital marketing, social media marketing, content creation, e-commerce, and online customer engagement. Conduct hands-on demonstrations using relevant digital platforms and applications. Train participants on branding strategies, brand identity development, positioning, and reputation management. Introduce participants to digital business tools and technologies that improve productivity and business operations. Facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and practical training sessions on digital enterprise development and entrepreneurship. Deliver modules on business planning, enterprise development, business registration, and startup management. Enterprise Development: Provide coaching on financial planning, pricing strategies, budgeting, and revenue generation. Support participants in developing viable business ideas into sustainable enterprises. Educate participants on innovation, product development, customer value proposition, and business sustainability. Guide trainees in preparing business models, business plans, and growth strategies. Branding and Market Access: Build participants’ capacity on customer relationship management and business networking. Train participants on developing compelling brands that meet market demands. Support businesses in creating effective marketing strategies for local and international markets. Facilitate access to digital marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and online sales channels. Provide guidance on packaging, product presentation, and market readiness. Introduce participants to market research techniques and customer profiling. Coaching and Mentorship: Support participants in overcoming business development challenges. Offer one-on-one mentoring sessions to participants. Monitor participant progress throughout the training programme. Facilitate peer learning and networking opportunities. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting: Submit post-training evaluation reports and recommendations. Maintain accurate attendance records and training documentation. Track participant performance and enterprise development outcomes. Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports. Assess participant learning through assignments, practical exercises, and assessments. Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in programme planning meetings and review sessions. Collaborate with project staff, NDE officials, and partner organizations. Represent the programme professionally during stakeholder engagements. Other Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with project policies and quality standards. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator. Maintain confidentiality of participant information. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of programme milestones and deliverables. Quality and timeliness of reports submitted. Number of viable business plans developed. Number of participants successfully establishing or strengthening enterprises. Improvement in participant assessment results. Participant attendance and completion rates. Participant satisfaction scores. Number of training sessions successfully delivered. Required Qualifications Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Branding, Enterprise Development, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, or related fields will be an added advantage. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Economics, Management, Information Technology, Communications, or a related discipline. Experience: Demonstrated experience: supporting startups, MSMEs, or youth-led enterprises. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience: delivering entrepreneurship, enterprise development, digital skills, or business development training. Experience: facilitating both physical and virtual training programmes. Behavioural Competencies: Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptability and innovation. Coaching and mentoring ability. High level of integrity and professionalism. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working Conditions: Frequent travel may be required within assigned project locations. May require occasional work outside regular office hours during programme implementation. Six-month contract with the possibility of renewal based on funding availability, performance, and programme needs. Flexibility to conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions. Salary Range N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
