The role is critical to customer satisfaction, supply reliability, and operational efficiency in bulk and project-based sales. The Logistics Officer – Corporate Sale is responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting bulk cement dispatch assets both at customers’ sites and during transit. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Planning & Execution: Monitor shipment progress and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. Support the optimization of truck allocation, routing, and delivery timelines to reduce delays and cost. Validate the daily dispatch Plan for the delivery of cement to customers and project sites, based on data generated from within customer’s geofence and GIT Stakeholder Management Support: Manage EPOD process and ensure correct reporting for accurate invoicing Provide timely updates on order dispatch status and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate logistics records for audit and compliance purposes. Provide data required to drive liaison between corporate clients sales team, and l transport units. Resolve delivery issues, complaints, or service disruptions efficiently. Inventory & Supply Management: Monitor stock levels at customers’ sites where the VMI system has been deployed. Flag potential stock shortages or overstock situations for proactive action. Data Management & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics and delivery reports Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Track logistics performance KPIs such as delivery turnaround time, order fulfillment rate, and transport utilization. Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Monitor logistics costs (fuel, haulage, demurrage) and support cost-reduction initiatives. Improve coordination processes to enhance turnaround time and service quality. Minimize delivery delays, truck idle time, and inefficiencies in dispatch operations.
