We are seeking a creative, articulate, and enthusiastic NYSC Corp Member to join our Corporate Communications Department. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for a Corp Member with little or no professional experience: who is interested in developing practical skills in corporate communication, content creation, internal communication, social media, research, and brand representation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Communications team and receive guidance while supporting the development and coordination of the organization's internal and external communications. Responsibilities: The Corp Member will support the Corporate Communications team with the following activities: Assist with preparing content ideas for social media, newsletters, internal updates, and other communication platforms. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling internal company information. Assist in researching topics, industry trends, news, and information relevant to the organization. Help track basic engagement and communication metrics and organize the information for review by the Communications team. Support the creation of basic written content for internal and external communication channels. Support the documentation and organization of company communications, photographs, graphics, and other media assets. Help gather information and materials required for corporate communications activities. Assist in collecting employee or stakeholder feedback for internal communication initiatives. Assist in coordinating internal communication activities, meetings, events, and employee engagement initiatives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving corporate communication. Assist in monitoring the organization's social media and digital communication platforms. Support the Communications team in proofreading and reviewing documents for spelling, grammar, clarity, and consistency. Assist with maintaining a content calendar and tracking planned communication activities. Carry out other entry-level communication and administrative tasks assigned by the Communications Manager or designated supervisor Support the development of simple visual communication materials using Canva or other approved design tools, where applicable. Support the preparation of presentations, briefing documents, reports, and communication materials. Assist in drafting simple internal communications, announcements, memos, and other company communications under supervision. Requirements: Familiarity with social media platforms. No prior professional experience: is required. Must be a prospective or serving NYSC Corp Member eligible for placement. Bachelor's Degree or HND from a recognized institution. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good attention to detail. Good command of English and ability to communicate ideas clearly. Creative mindset with an interest in communication and content. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Strong willingness to learn and receive feedback.
