The successful candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining high quality and safety standards, optimizing plant performance, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Our client is seeking an experienced Factory Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations. Candidates must have a proven track record in the construction chemicals, building materials, or related manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Oversee production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, and regulatory standards across all plant operations. Lead, mentor, and develop production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to deliver high performance. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives are achieved. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and optimize manufacturing costs. Requirements: Chemical Manufacturing / Construction industry experience: Strong knowledge of production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, quality systems, and maintenance management. Proven experience: managing factory operations, production budgets, cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement projects. Minimum of 5 years' experience: in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. 8–10 years' experience: in manufacturing within the construction industry Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
