We are seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Manager to lead the organization’s compliance function, ensure regulatory adherence, manage compliance risks, and promote a strong culture of ethics, accountability, and transparency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures. Advise management and the Board on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and emerging issues. Ensure compliance with applicable CBN, NDIC, SEC, EFCC, AML/CFT, and data protection regulations. Oversee timely regulatory filings, reporting, and correspondence. Identify, assess, and monitor compliance and operational risks across business units. Lead compliance monitoring, investigations, and follow-up on regulatory and audit findings. Oversee KYC, due diligence, AML/CFT, fraud prevention, and suspicious transaction reporting. Develop and deliver compliance and AML training across the organization. Maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders. Provide regular compliance reports and insights to management and the Board. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. Professional certification such as CAMS, CFE, CRCP, ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required. Minimum of 8 years’ experience: in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs. At least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, AML/CFT, and data protection requirements. Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant compliance tools. Ideal Candidate: A strategic and experienced compliance professional with strong regulatory knowledge, leadership ability, and the judgment to manage complex compliance and risk matters in a regulated financial services environment.
