We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer to support the effective management, maintenance, and functionality of medical equipment and technology within our healthcare facilities. Responsibilities: Ensure medical equipment complies with applicable safety and regulatory standards. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on medical devices and equipment. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical and medical equipment. Assist with equipment assessment, replacement, and procurement recommendations. Identify equipment faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime. Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on the proper use of equipment. Support the development and implementation of equipment maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history. Perform regular inspection, testing, calibration, and safety checks of equipment. Liaise with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, procurement, and technical support. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in relevant engineering and equipment management software is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment specifications. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills. Good knowledge of biomedical equipment and healthcare technology.
