We have multiple locations in Benin, Warri, Okuokoko etc. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Lead Auditor Location: Warri, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Lead Auditor to lead and deliver high-quality internal audit engagements across the organisation. The successful candidate will assess risk, evaluate controls, identify improvement opportunities, and provide clear, practical recommendations to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Monitor agreed actions and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations. Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls, and operational processes. Lead audit teams, allocate work, review working papers, and ensure assignments meet quality standards and deadlines. Prepare clear audit reports outlining findings, risks, root causes, and actionable recommendations. Support the development and continuous improvement of the annual audit plan and audit methodology. Present audit outcomes to management and relevant committees. Plan, lead, and execute risk-based audit assignments from scoping through to reporting. Build effective working relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and professional objectivity. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/data-analysis tools. Excellent analytical, report-writing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk-based auditing, and control frameworks. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Demonstrated leadership ability and sound professional judgement. 5–7 years’ audit, risk, compliance, or internal-control experience, including experience: leading audit engagements.
