This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and responding promptly to maintenance requests to ensure guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency. Min Qualification: OND Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - Rotating Schedule Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations. Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, locks, and other hotel property. Monitor and maintain water, power, air conditioning, and generator systems. Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and hotel standards. Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Assist with renovations, installations, and facility improvement projects. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary. Report major maintenance issues and equipment failures to management. Requirements: Minimum of an OND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facility maintenance, or a similar role is an advantage. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
