Medical Officer (Post-NYSC) Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 1 year Location Lagos Job Field Medical / Healthcare Salary Range ₦300,000 - ₦400,000/month Role Description The Medical Officer (Post-NYSC) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across relevant service lines within the Zendale network. Daily responsibilities: include conducting ward rounds and outpatient clinics, managing emergencies, coordinating referrals, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, evidence-based care and uphold clinical protocols. The Medical Officer will also participate in case reviews, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, support training of junior staff, and engage in patient education: to promote better health outcomes. Qualifications Demonstrated clinical competence in Medicine and Patient Care, with the ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions independently. Capability to assist in or perform minor Surgery procedures as appropriate, following established clinical guidelines and safety standards. Experience: Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective communication and collaborative clinical decision-making. Interest and ability in Training and mentoring interns, junior clinicians, and clinical support staff to strengthen overall care delivery. Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Completion of mandatory NYSC service, with post-NYSC clinical experience: in a hospital or multi-specialty setting considered an advantage. Strong clinical documentation skills, familiarity with standard treatment protocols, and commitment to continuous professional development. Good interpersonal and communication skills, ethical practice, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work shifts and weekends when required. Requirement and Qualifications Female Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine. Minimum of 1 Year Post NYSC. Full Registration with the Medical and dental Council of Nigeria as a Medical Practitioner Valid Annual Practicing License Nysc Discharge Certificate / Exemption.
