YOUR MISSION Design and implement performance management frameworks that create consistent, measurable output across departments Build and own the hiring funnel - job briefs, assessment frameworks, interview structures, and final selection Develop onboarding and talent identification systems to fast-track high performers Create incentive, motivation, and retention strategies that keep top talent engaged long-term Balance organizational interests with employee wellbeing - enforcing accountability where performance falls short Advise leadership on org structure, role design, and people strategy Manage disciplinary processes fairly but firmly when performance or conduct issues arise WHAT YOU BRING Must-have: Performance management, Recruitment & hiring design, Organizational structuring, Talent development & retention, HR policy & compliance, Employee relations & disciplinary management Nice-to-have: Hospitality or service-industry HR experience, HRIS / HR software proficiency, Compensation & benefits design, Coaching or behavioral psychology background TOOLS HRIS platforms (e.g. BambooHR, Zoho People), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), Performance review tools, Google Workspace / Microsoft Office PURPOSE This role exists to fix a performance problem. YellowDoor Hotels needs someone who can diagnose why people aren't delivering, build the structures and systems to change that, and create a culture where high performance is the norm - not the exception. The HR Manager will own the full people pipeline: attracting the right talent, assessing them rigorously, onboarding them well, developing top performers, and managing exits when needed.
