We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Remote Position Overview We are seeking a highly responsible and self-motivated QA Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ownership of their work, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to balance quality assurance with efficient delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution Task Ownership & Project Management: Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards Move testing cards through the workflow efficiently while maintaining thoroughness Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality Proactively identify potential issues and risks before they impact delivery Take complete ownership of assigned testing tasks from initiation to completion Communication & Collaboration: Actively follow up on blockers, dependencies, and outstanding issues Facilitate effective communication between development, product, and business teams Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings Communicate test results, findings, and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner Provide clear, detailed, and timely status updates to stakeholders Process Improvement: Implement best practices for test automation and efficiency Contribute to the development of testing standards and guidelines Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the organization Success Metrics Proactive identification and resolution of quality issues Effective communication and stakeholder management Consistent delivery of high-quality testing results within agreed timelines Positive team collaboration and knowledge sharing Continuous improvement in testing efficiency and effectiveness Required Qualifications Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing Experience: with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.) Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices Experience: with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, etc.) 3+ years of experience: in software quality assurance and testing Professional Attributes: Professional Excellence: Maintains the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions Self-Direction: Thrives with minimal supervision and can work independently to drive results Proactive Follow-up: Consistently follows up on issues, blockers, and action items without being prompted Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly Exceptional Responsibility: Demonstrates complete ownership of work and follows through on commitments Quality-Speed Balance: Ability to deliver high-quality work efficiently without sacrificing standards Soft Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements: Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying edge cases Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities What We're Looking For: The Ideal Candidate Will: Actively contribute to team success and process improvements.
