We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Senior Pharmacist Location: Asaba, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Summary of Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure the pharmacy environment remains organized, safe, and efficient. Monitor drug therapies for effectiveness, interactions, contraindications, and adverse effects. Report directly to the Superintendent Pharmacist and hospital management. Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions, controlled substances, and patient medication records. Ensure compliance with all Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment outcomes. Develop and implement pharmacy policies, protocols, and quality assurance measures. Oversee procurement, inventory control, and stock management of pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy unit. Review, dispense, and verify prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in clinical ward rounds and contribute to medication management decisions.
