The Faith and Claire Company Limited (Loom Chocolate), a growing Nigerian chocolate company, is seeking a reliable, responsible,and detail-oriented driver for ourteam. The driver will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of chocolate and related FMCG products to retail outlets, distributors, and customers. The role is critical to maintaining product quality, stock integrity, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction in a fast-moving FMCG environment where freshness, speed, and reliability are essential. Key Responsibilities: Delivery & Distribution: Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Load and unload delivery vans carefully and in line with food safety practices to prevent product damage. Obtain proof of delivery and ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation. Deliver chocolate and FMCG products to assigned routes according to daily delivery schedules. FMCG & Product Handling: Ensure appropriate storage conditions during transportation, including temperature protection, monitoring, and ventilation. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles when handling stock. Handle chocolate and temperature-sensitive products in accordance with company quality standards. Inspect products before loading and after delivery and report any damages or discrepancies promptly. Inventory & Fulfilment Accuracy: Pick up and verify orders to ensure accuracy before dispatch. Assist with stock counts, returns, and reverse logistics when required. Reconcile delivered quantities against invoices and delivery notes. Vehicle & Safety Management: Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, tires, and cleanliness. Comply with applicable road safety requirements: and company driving policies. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery van at all times. Report vehicle faults, accidents, and other incidents promptly. Customer & Brand Representation: Represent the company professionally during deliveries. Build positive relationships with customers and retail partners. Handle customer queries and delivery issues professionally and escalate when necessary. Requirements: Good knowledge of Lagos roads, route planning, and delivery logistics. Minimum of 2 years' experience: in delivery driving, logistics, or FMCG distribution. Previous experience: handling food products or temperature-sensitive goods is an advantage. Proficiency in navigation applications such as Google Maps. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. Proximity to Ikeja / Ogba, Lagos, is an added advantage. Good numeracy and documentation skills for accurate inventory and delivery records. Strong time-management skills. Licensing & Physical Requirements: Willingness to comply with the company's no-drugand no-alcohol policy Valid driver's license suitable for delivery van operation. Physically fit and able to safely load and unload goods. Clean driving record. Personal Attributes: Able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. No-drug policy to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Good communication and customer-service skills. Honest, trustworthy, and responsible when handling company assets.
