We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary This role is open exclusively to corps members currently undergoing their NYSC service year, and offers valuable hands-on experience: in a corporate finance environment. The Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with vendors and service providers on payment-related matters. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Assist the finance unit with audits and other financial exercises as required. Support bank reconciliations and monitoring of company accounts. Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking. Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management. Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts. Requirements: Time management Bookkeeping and financial record-keeping Strong numerical and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping. Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills. Confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Must be a serving NYSC member with a valid NYSC posting letter (mandatory). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Basic financial reporting Trustworthy, with a high level of discretion in handling financial information. Communication and interpersonal skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
