We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Issuing Operations Specialist Location: Lagos, Nigeria Reports To: HOD, Issuing Operations Job Purpose To support the Issuing Operations team in the preparation, processing, and monitoring of EMV data and card personalization activities, while ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery in line with agreed service levels Duties & Responsibilities: Upload and drop personalization jobs for external personalization bureaus on secure FTP locations, following approved procedures. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of assigned tasks and completed jobs. Provide first-level support in identifying and escalating issues on the UP Card Factory solution. Assist in routine checks and basic maintenance of PIN mailer printers and promptly report faults to the supervisor. Support daily job tracking and assist in compiling daily operational statistics for review by the supervisor. Adhere strictly to information security, data confidentiality, and industry standards. Assist in generating EMV data preparation reports and customer service unit reports for banks. Assist in recreating EMV personalization data (CIM and text files) when required. Support the preparation and organization of EMV data files required for card personalization. Assist in receiving card personalization jobs from banks via the helpdesk and acknowledge job receipt under supervision. Help generate required files such as UAM, text, and ODBC files for personalization under guidance. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience. Others: Professional Qualifications – added advantage Education: OND in Computer science, computer Engineering or related courses. Behavioural: Decisive Results oriented Analytical Creative & Innovative. Proactive Demonstrates Integrity Skill/Competencies: Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data Willingness to learn card personalization and EMV processes. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access – mandatory). Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. Knowledge: Basic understanding of card operations or payment systems (added advantage). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work extended hours when required.
