The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cash-flow management, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision-making. Online Foodstuff Store Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead and head our Finance Department. Key Responsibilities: Establish, maintain and strengthen financial controls and accounting processes. Ensure proper documentation and accurate recording of all financial transactions. Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Work closely with other departments to ensure proper financial planning and accountability. Monitor cash flow and ensure effective management of the company’s financial resources. Provide management with financial analysis, insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial plans. Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor balances, customer accounts and other financial reconciliations. Oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables, cash management, and reconciliations. Lead and manage the Finance Department and provide effective direction to the finance team. Supervise, mentor and develop members of the Finance Department. Ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of the company’s financial information. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements. Identify financial risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for cost optimization. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage. Experience: managing and developing a finance team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with significant experience: in a finance/accounting leadership role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, taxation and financial controls.
