In this role, you will work closely with our sister company, which delivers comprehensive, industry-aligned technology training across Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging technologies. The programmes focus on practical skills, employability, workforce capability development, and measurable business outcomes. We are seeking a results-driven Corporate Training Partnerships Manager to lead the development of B2B training and workforce-upskilling partnerships across Ireland, the UK, and Africa. This is a senior, target-driven business development role with responsibility for the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and prospecting through discovery, proposal development, negotiation, contract closure, onboarding, and account growth. You will be responsible for positioning our training solutions as a preferred choice for organisations seeking to develop their employees, address digital skills gaps, and strengthen their technical capabilities. Work Arrangement: The successful candidate will be required to work from the company’s office: Applicants must be available to work on-site during these hours. This is not a remote or hybrid position. This is a full-time, on-site position. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other appropriate channels. Develop long-term corporate training and workforce-transformation partnerships. Build relationships with HR leaders, Learning and Development professionals, Talent teams, IT leaders, business owners, department heads, government bodies, and senior decision-makers. Position the Academy as a strategic learning partner rather than simply a course provider. Build and maintain a strong B2B sales pipeline across Ireland, the UK, and Africa. Identify new partnership, sponsorship, funding, and enterprise-training opportunities. Identify and engage organisations seeking corporate technology training, workforce development, and employee-upskilling solutions. Lead Follow-Up and Sales Execution: Address questions, concerns, and objections from prospective clients. Negotiate commercial terms and close multi-seat, multi-programme, and long-term training agreements. Conduct discovery meetings to understand each organisation’s skills gaps, training requirements, workforce goals, budget, timelines, and decision-making process. Deliver presentations and demonstrations to business stakeholders. Coordinate with internal training and delivery teams to design solutions that meet client requirements. Recommend suitable bootcamps, corporate training programmes, and customised partnership packages. Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, partnership documents, and commercial offers. Follow up promptly with corporate leads through telephone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings where required. Clearly communicate the commercial and operational value of the training solutions. Guide clients through contracting, onboarding, and programme implementation. Corporate Account and Relationship Management: Manage ongoing corporate accounts and maintain regular communication throughout the partnership. Build trusted relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, proposals, contracts, and follow-up activities. Ensure client expectations are properly documented and communicated to internal teams. Identify renewal, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities. Develop accounts into long-term strategic partnerships. Monitor client satisfaction and help resolve issues affecting the partnership. Product and Programme Knowledge: Confidently explain programmes covering Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data, AI, and other emerging technologies. Stay informed about new programmes, delivery models, pricing, and partnership packages. Develop a strong understanding of the company’s and sister company’s technology training portfolio. Match client requirements: to the most appropriate training pathway or customised solution. Understand how each programme can support employee development, workforce transformation, productivity, digital adoption, and organisational growth. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor offerings and changes in client demand. Track trends in corporate learning, digital skills, technology adoption, and workforce transformation. Identify industries and organisations with significant digital-skills and workforce-development needs. Gather feedback from prospective clients and share relevant insights with management and programme-delivery teams. Identify government, corporate, and institutional initiatives that may create partnership or funding opportunities. Reporting and Administration: Attend scheduled on-site meetings, team discussions, sales reviews, and planning sessions. Update CRM records and internal tracking documents consistently. Work collaboratively with management, marketing, programme delivery, and administrative teams. Maintain an organised and accurate sales pipeline. Prepare regular reports on leads, opportunities, proposals, conversion rates, revenue forecasts, and partnership activity. Comfortable conducting telephone outreach and following up persistently with leads. Commercially aware and capable of identifying client needs and revenue opportunities. Comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders across different countries and cultures. Comfortable working with long and complex sales cycles. Required Experience: Experience: working in or selling across Ireland, the UK, or African markets is an advantage. Demonstrable track record of progressing opportunities and closing B2B deals. Experience: using CRM systems and sales-management tools. A minimum of three years’ experience: in B2B business development, partnership development, corporate sales, or enterprise sales. Experience: dealing with corporate organisations, government institutions, or enterprise clients is advantageous. Experience: managing client relationships and identifying renewal or account-growth opportunities. Experience: selling training, education, technology, consulting, SaaS, or professional services is highly desirable. Proven experience: generating leads and building a qualified sales pipeline.
