We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Regional Accountant Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Work schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Responsibilities: Ensure timely filing and remittance of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations. Manage daily cash flow and ensure proper cash handling by the cashier/front desk. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all transactions. Maintain records of employee salaries, benefits, deductions, and statutory payments. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports including sales, purchases, and expenses. Reconcile cash, bank statements, and credit card transactions. Analyze financial data to identify areas of cost reduction and profit maximization. Prepare financial documents for audits and liaise with external auditors. Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and improvements. Process staff payroll accurately and on time. Monitor petty cash usage and reconcile accordingly. Ensure timely deposits of restaurant income into the company’s bank account. Work closely with procurement and operations to align financial goals with business needs. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Monitor inventory costs, supplier invoices, and wastage to ensure financial efficiency. Track accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist in preparing and monitoring restaurant budgets. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance. Ability to work under pressure. Strong communication andreporting skills. 2 - 4 years experience: Benefits: Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 / Month.
