The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of post-call experience with a strong background in civil and commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and legal advisory services. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings. Draft and review pleadings, motions, legal opinions, briefs, and other court processes. Conduct legal research and provide practical legal advice on contentious matters. Develop litigation strategies and manage dispute resolution matters from inception to conclusion. Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and negotiations. Liaise with regulatory bodies, external counsel, and other stakeholders where necessary. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures. Maintain accurate case files and provide regular updates on ongoing matters. Requirements: LL.B and B.L. qualifications Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-call experience in dispute resolution/litigation. Excellent advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills. Strong knowledge of Nigerian civil and commercial litigation procedures. Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. Preferred Attributes: Experience handling commercial disputes, debt recovery, employment, and corporate litigation. Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment. Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating initiative and accountability.
