We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accounting Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Resumption: Immediate Job Summary This is a mandatory requirement. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support effective financial management. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience: specifically within the construction or warehouse industry. Key Responsibilities: Monitor project-related expenses and costs, particularly in relation to construction activities. Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records and resolve them promptly. Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning. Handle daily accounting transactions, including income, expenses, invoices, receipts, and payments. Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and reconciliations. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management. Support the company in meeting relevant tax, audit, and statutory requirements. Maintain proper records of inventory, stock movements, and related financial transactions where applicable. Monitor expenses, purchases, and other financial transactions. Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation. Work closely with procurement, operations, warehouse, and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements: Strong integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience: in the construction or warehouse industry. Candidates without at least 3 years of relevant construction or warehouse accounting experience: should not apply. Must be available to resume immediately. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. ICAN qualification or relevant ICAN certification is a strong advantage. Salary N350,000 monthly.
