We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Enugu Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Hospitality (Hotel) Department: Finance & Accounts Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our Finance team and support the financial operations of our hotel. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights that support business growth across our hotel operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience: working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory filings. Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial control measures. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities. Assist management in making informed financial decisions through timely reporting and analysis. Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support. Conduct inventory audits and reconcile inventory records with operational departments. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Experience: in the hospitality industry is an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience. High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality. Location Preference: Preferably within close proximity to Independence Layout, Enugu for easy commuting.
