The Finance Analyst will monitor the performance of his perimeter and ensure targets are met. Works closely with senior team members and managers. The Finance Analyst focuses on specific financial tasks and processes. Ensure availability of mileage data for clients correct billing, payment and prompt reconciliation of freight, fuel, breakages. Key Performance Areas Assist in financial planning, reconciliation, and analysis processes to support overall financial operations. Prepare routine financial reports and presentations. Conduct basic financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis. Support day-to-day financial operations and transactions. Fulfill additional financial analysis tasks as directed by the Finance Director (FD) and Financial Controller (FC). Conduct detailed reconciliations of financial data (revenue, fuel, breakages) and communicate findings to stakeholders. Update and maintain records of daily financial and operational transactions. Gather and analyze shipment profitability reports, providing data-driven recommendations. Ensure timely collection and distribution of relevant financial documentation. Collaborate with fleet controllers and clients to reconcile daily mileage, fuel, and breakages data. Monitor and validate data entries and reports to ensure data integrity. Perform accurate and meticulous data analysis, focusing on freight and fuel financial and operational data. Manage the completion and distribution of financial reports to clients and internal teams efficiently. Track and document key financial metrics and time-sensitive milestones. Qualifications Required HND / BSc Degree in Finance or Accounting and relevant subject. Experience: and Skills Required: Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. 1 - 3 years’ experience: in similar role. Entry to mid-level position Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools. Relevant certifications, such as the ICAN or equivalent Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Developing communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with economic and market trends. Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles.
