Appropriate professional registration/license where applicable. Demonstrated ability to operate laboratory equipment. Ability to assist academic staff and researchers. Possession of a relevant Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in the relevant laboratory discipline. Minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience. Ability to prepare laboratories, reagents, specimens and materials for practical classes. Other Requirements: Be medically fit and capable of performing laboratory duties. Demonstrate competence in laboratory safety and equipment handling Be willing to perform other duties assigned by the appropriate University authority Demonstrate good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Provide verifiable academic and professional credentials. Candidates with experience: in universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes, medical laboratories and other recognized laboratory facilities will have an added advantage. Additional Information Such candidates must be medically fit and capable of effectively contributing to teaching, research, mentorship and academic activities. Retired academics and consultants with extensive experience: in teaching, clinical practice, research, postgraduate supervision, mentorship and academic administration may be considered for suitable academic appointments, including contractor other appropriate appointments in accordance with University policy.
