Azarai has been designing engagement and wedding rings in Nigeria since 2014. We work with moissanite, lab diamonds, natural diamonds and precious metals. Our customers are making one of the biggest purchases of their lives, and they need someone who knows the product to guide them. We are hiring Retail Associates for our Ikeja store. You will run the store day to day — serving customers, closing sales, managing stock and keeping the space in the condition our customers expect. Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints Accept repairs and ensure they are dispatched and returned promptly Guide customers to make purchases and close transactions Ensure the POS is working Ensure supply of all office consumables Execute company promotions and offers Manage stock levels and ensure availability of inventory Maintain cleanliness and good decorative order in the store Enforce company policies Arrange store displays in an inviting fashion Ensure timely opening of the store Cultivate excellent product knowledge What We Expect We are direct about this so nobody is surprised after they start. Sell. This is a performance-based role. We expect you to be confident selling a high-value product to a well-educated, affluent customer base. Know the product. You are expected to answer technical questions about stones and metals accurately and confidently. Own the store. Cleanliness, displays, stock accuracy, POS, consumables and repairs are yours to manage. Excellent personal grooming, every shift. This is non-negotiable in a luxury environment. Weekend and holiday availability. Saturdays are our busiest days. You may also be scheduled on Sundays and public holidays. Turn up on time, every time. You are responsible for the store opening on schedule. Commit for at least a year. We invest heavily in training and want people who intend to stay. Complete training before you serve a customer. Training is rigorous. It is not a formality. Requirements: Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and software. Excellent spoken and written English. You will be administered a diction test. You must live in Lekki or the surrounding areas — Lekki Phase 1 and 2, Ikate, Osapa, Agungi, Chevron, Ajah, Sangotedo, Victoria Island or similar. This is a firm requirement. The roster is flexible, but you can be scheduled at any time within our trading hours: 9am–6pm Monday to Saturday, and 12pm–6pm on Sundays.
