We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Digital Storyteller – Content & Media Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Full-time Department: Marketing / Content & Media Work Environment: Office, Farm and Field Job Summary We are seeking a creative and highly driven Digital Storyteller to document our work, communicate our impact, and shape how the SafeNest brand is seen, heard, and experienced. Job Purpose The successful candidate must be comfortable identifying strong stories, travelling between locations, capturing moments as they happen, and creating content that attracts attention, builds trust, and drives audience engagement. The Digital Storyteller will capture real activities across our farms, field operations, customer engagements, and office environment, transforming them into compelling written, visual, and video content. This is not a routine desk-based content role. Key Responsibilities: Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on audience response. Interview farmers, customers, team members, partners, and other stakeholders. Document activities across farms, field locations, customer engagements, events, and the office. Work closely with internal teams to identify stories, achievements, and activities worth documenting. Develop creative content for social media and other digital platforms. Ensure all content reflects SafeNest’s voice, values, and brand standards. Create engaging articles, stories, captions, scripts, and other written content. Edit and package photos and videos for maximum engagement and reach. Maintain a consistent content calendar and publishing schedule. Capture high-quality photographs and short-form videos using a phone or camera. Candidate Requirements: Willingness to travel within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas when required. Comfortable working across office, farm, and field environments. Strong writing, storytelling, and communication ability. Ability to turn technical or everyday activities into simple and engaging stories. Experience: creating content for brands, organisations, media platforms, or personal projects. Solid video-editing and graphic-design skills. Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 5 years experience. Ability to work independently, manage a content schedule, and meet deadlines. Skilled in photography and video creation using a smartphone or camera. Strong creative judgement and attention to detail. Preferred Skills Experience: managing social media content. Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms. Ability to appear on camera or conduct on-camera interviews is an advantage. Interest in agriculture, sustainability, community development, or the circular economy. Experience: covering events, interviews, field activities, or documentary-style content.
