The role requires a mid-level professional with 5–7 years of demonstrated project management experience, strong field coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams, partners and deadlines simultaneously. The Project Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of all our projects including agroforestry and restoration interventions, youth E-STEM and environmental education: programmes and community climate action initiatives. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Any other responsibilities: assigned to the candidate by the Executive Director as required Coordinate field staff, volunteers and community facilitators across project communities. Serve as a key liaison with community leaders, government agencies, schools and partner organisations. Support training and mentoring of junior staff, interns and volunteers involved in project delivery. Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure activities comply with GRENCHI's policies and donor requirements. Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance. Lead the planning, scheduling and execution of GRENCHI projects from inception to close-out. Ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. Track project budgets and expenditure in coordination with the Finance Officer, ensure efficient and compliant use of project resources. Develop and apply MEL frameworks and tools to track project indicators, document lessons learned and inform adaptive management. Prepare narrative and technical progress reports for donors and partners, ensuring alignment with grant agreements and reporting schedules. Ensure timely documentation of project activities, outcomes and case studies, working closely with the Communications team. Prepare annual report working with all team members Qualifications Additional certification in project management will be an added advantage. BSc or MSc in Forestry, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Development Studies, Project Management or a related field. Experience: and Ideal Requirement: Excellent organisational, problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including donor report writing. Contributions and climate change policy context is an advantage. Strong understanding of project management tools and approaches (e.g. logframes,Theory of Change, MEL frameworks). Demonstrated experience: managing donor-funded projects, including budgeting, work planning and reporting. Familiarity with Nigeria's environment, forestry, Nigeria’s National Determined 5–7 years' progressive experience: coordination, project management, community development, environmental and community-based projects. Proven experience: coordinating field teams and working directly with rural or community stakeholders.
