Read more about this company Business Development Manager Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 4 years Location Lagos Job Field Sales and Business Development PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: Should be able to collate and analyze industry with understanding competition Should be able to anticipate future projects and strategies on how to key into those projects Identify potential clients and decision makers within the Oil and Gas sector. Win major contracts in International Oil Companies (IOC’s) and other oil & gas companies in the following service areas but not limited to: - Construction and Fabrication Marine Services Manpower Supply Procurement CORE COMPETENCIES: The following core competencies are the skills, knowledge and behaviors expected of an employee of Beneprojecti Nigeria Limited. Qualification: Must possess at least a degree in engineering related field. Minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar position. Must have extensive working experience in the oil and gas sector. Must have an eye for details and zero tolerance to rework or errors Must be able to work under pressure and able to challenge deadlines. Must show proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must have proposal management experience Must demonstrate previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language Provide proven leadership and management experience Have extensive marketing experience Possess experience interacting with executive-level staff Must show an understanding of the bid process Experience in securing large contracts Knowledge of document management methods Cloud software experience will be an added advantage Experience: Minimum of 4 years working experience. Communication Skill: Strong writing and verbal communication skills is a must- including effective public relations and public speaking skills. Initiative and Confidence: Generate and act on new ideas that add value to the business. Looks at different ways to solve problems and address difficulties. Achievement Drive: Set goals and strive to achieve them with enthusiasm and determination. Respect: Treat colleagues and customers in a manner, which demonstrates integrity, honesty and fairness. Integrity and Approachability: Must have integrity and be approachable, as managers and staff must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues. Flexible Team Player: Work effectively within a variety of situations, individuals and groups applying the “whatever it takes” attitude. Planning and Organizational Skills: Establishes a clear course of action to achieve long or short-term goals in an organized manner. Must be able to interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.
