Read more about this company Cold Room Engineering & Quality Assurance Specialist Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 8 years Location Lagos City Lekki Job Field Engineering / Technical Role Description The Cold Room Engineering & Quality Assurance Specialist will serve as the Company's independent technical expert responsible for ensuring that all cold rooms are properly designed, constructed, commissioned, and maintained to consistently operate within their specified temperature ranges. The role will provide technical oversight over all cold room projects, ensuring that the Company engages competent contractors, uses quality materials, adopts best engineering practices, minimizes construction and maintenance costs, maximizes equipment lifespan, and eliminates recurring cold room failures. Qualifications Strong technical skills in refrigeration systems, cold room operations, and HVAC equipment, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently. Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Professional certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Project Management is an added advantage Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience: in commercial refrigeration, cold room engineering, or industrial refrigeration. Demonstrated experience: in the design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of commercial or industrial cold rooms. Experience: managing contractors and supervising cold room construction projects. Experience: within the food processing, hospitality, cold chain logistics, manufacturing, or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry will be an advantage.
