We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Warehouse Officer Job Location: Rivers Job Responsibilities: Receive inbound goods, verify quantity/condition against waybills/PO/manifest, and record receipts (GRN). Flag and document discrepancies (shortage, damage, wrong item) and escalate immediately. Execute put-away into assigned locations; ensure correct labeling/tagging and location accuracy. Follow FIFO/FEFO rules and maintain safe stacking and aisle discipline. Pick orders per pick list, confirm accuracy, and stage for dispatch. Pack/label/shrink-wrap as required; support loading and ensure dispatch documents match physical counts. Coordinate with transport/security teams to meet dispatch timelines. Maintain accurate stock movement logs/WMS updates (receipts, transfers, issues, returns). Conduct cycle counts and support periodic stock counts; investigate and report variances. Track damaged/expired/quarantined items and ensure proper segregation. Keep clean records (receiving notes, bin cards/location logs, dispatch notes, count sheets). Prepare daily/weekly updates on inbound/outbound volumes, stock status, and operational issues. Maintain housekeeping (5S), enforce PPE use, and comply with safety and SOP requirements. Support truck loading/offloading and ensure dispatch counts match shipping documents. Work with transport team to meet dispatch timelines and turnaround time targets. Sign for inbound shipments when / where necessary Receive and Photocopy Waybills. Witness Seal Cutting. Truck arrival, loading and dispatch time tracking. Conduct truck inspection before loading. Ensure correct number and type of product is picked Compare quantity, labelling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct Accept signatures for outbound as necessary Efficiently move product into outbound delivery vehicles Other tasks as may be assigned. Requirements: B.Sc or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent in a highly analytical field from a reputable institution. 2-4 years of work experience: in warehousing, preferably a similar role. Must have completed the NYSC program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PPT). Exceptional computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Supply chain/logistics certification might be an advantage Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
