This role is critical in ensuring that our machinery operates at peak performance, thus supporting our mission of delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety standards. We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team in overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of mechanical systems within our facilities. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with industry standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Manage the maintenance budget and oversee procurement of necessary tools and parts. Collaborate with engineering teams to assist in the design and implementation of mechanical modifications and upgrades. Required and Preferred Qualifications Required: Exprience in water production line Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and projects. Must have exprience in related issue withblowing machine, labelling machine e.t.c Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. 5+ years of experience: in mechanical without supervision or a similar role, preferably in FMCG. Preferred: Experience: with predictive maintenance technologies and tools. Certifications in relevant mechanical systems or maintenance practices. Bachelor's Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies: Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations. Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS). Familiarity with CAD software for design and modification of mechanical systems. Soft Skills and Cultural Fit: Proactive mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and safety. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
