You'll play a vital role in protecting the organisation through strong compliance, informed planning and proactive risk management, while supporting multiple business units and entities across Nigeria and other African markets. As Tax Manager, you'll help ensure our business operates confidently, responsibly and efficiently across a complex tax landscape. This is a role where your expertise directly contributes to sound decision-making, business performance and long-term success. What You’ll Be Doing Provide tax expertise across the business, including support for operations in Ghana and Kenya, helping teams navigate tax obligations and opportunities with confidence. Support effective tax planning by providing analysis, forecasts and insights that help inform business decisions and budgeting processes. Build constructive relationships with tax authorities and external partners, ensuring queries, correspondence and tax matters are resolved efficiently. Drive confidence in financial reporting through robust tax reconciliations, reviews and compliance monitoring. Keep the business compliant and protected by ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting, filings and statutory remittances across multiple entities. Contribute to strong governance by maintaining accurate records, managing compliance trackers and supporting audits, reviews and tax investigations. What You’ll Bring Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships across different teams. Experience: working with SAP and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to support reporting, analysis and compliance activities. A Degree in Accounting and a professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or CITN. A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax accounting processes. Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax legislation, including VAT, WHT, Companies Income Tax, PAYE, Transfer Pricing and related compliance requirements. Experience: in a tax-focused finance role, ideally within an FMCG, multinational or similarly complex environment.
