We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Community Mobilization Officer Locations: Daura, Charanchi, and Batagarawa - Katsina Employment Type: Contract Background The role will support project-wide implementation and community-level coordination. The project seeks to improve community resilience, participation, and ownership of project interventions across Katsina State (Daura, Charanchi and Batagarawa LGAs. The Community Mobilization Officers will serve as the link between the project and target communities, ensuring effective community engagement, participation, awareness creation, and mobilization for project activities. Purpose of the Position To mobilize communities, strengthen stakeholder participation, and support the successful implementation of project activities through effective community engagement and communication. Key Responsibilities: Community Mobilization and Engagement: Promote community participation and ownership of project interventions. Mobilize beneficiaries and community stakeholders for project activities. Facilitate community meetings, consultations, and sensitization sessions. Engage traditional, religious, women, and youth leaders in project implementation. Stakeholder Coordination: Support the establishment and strengthening of community structures and committees. Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders and local authorities. Facilitate collaboration between the project and community stakeholders. Awareness Raising and Communication: Conduct awareness campaigns on project objectives and activities. Support behavior change and community outreach initiatives. Disseminate project information to target communities. Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare activity reports and community mobilization updates. Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges. Collect community feedback and concerns. Monitor community participation and engagement levels.
