We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Reception Engineer Location: Ndola Cement, Zambia Responsibilties Provide advice and technical assistance to team members. Close off job cards and sign off log books accordingly after completion of repairs. Carry out parts and spares inventory management. Evaluate the impact of work delays Interruptions or changes in plans to develop appropriate course of actions, Work hand In hand with Workshop Supervisor in reviewing service orders and inspect the quality of technicians’ repairs before the release of vehicle for operations. Act as liaison between Top management and workshop staff on all departmental and cooperate developments. Assist Workshop Supervisor to plan and adjust the workloads of department personnel to match their skills and abilities. Ensure strict adherence to all safe work procedures, and (HSE) adherence. Assist Workshop Supervisor to conduct quarterly/annual Performance Appraisal Workshop Personnel, Carry out physical inspections on all trucks admitted into the workshop before and after completion of repairs. Monitor workflow to anticipate impact of delays due to team members being absent for leaves, holidays or sickness. Assist Workshop Supervisor in generating daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual workshop repairs and maintenance reports Qualifications Bachelor`s Degree or its equivalent in Automotive / Heavy Duty Engineering or related discipline from government recognized institution.
