Reconcile financial transactions, accounts, and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Prepare and process invoices, payments, expense reports, and other financial transactions. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals. Monitor and track financial transactions, expenses, and budgets to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Provide support and assistance to auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations. Prepare annual budget and monitor budget performance Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and accounts receivable/payable. Conduct monthly bank reconciliation Requirements: The ideal candidate must reside in Delta State. Also having an experience: with an Audit firm will be a further advantage. Candidates should possess a HND or BSc in Accounting with 5 years working experience. A previous experience: in the same role in the Marine Industry will be an advantage.
