The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with company policies. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee the organization’s procurement activities, supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and cost-management strategies. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and vendors. Monitor inventory levels and support effective stock management. Conduct market research to monitor prices, trends, and availability of goods and services. Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality, pricing, delays, and discrepancies. Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement. Ensure ethical, transparent, and professional procurement practices across the organization. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Negotiate contracts, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions. Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and identify alternative suppliers where necessary. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and documentation. Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, products, and services. Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, supplier evaluations, and other management reports. Ensure all procurement activities comply with approved policies, budgets, and procedures. Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance. Work closely with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and other departments to understand procurement needs. Requirements: Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is an added advantage. Minimum of OND or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, or related field.
