The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding and supporting agents and merchants, managing POS terminals, increasing transaction volume and counts, resolving operational issues, and ensuring that assigned targets are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, onboard, and manage agents, merchants, and aggregators. Drive growth in active agents, transaction count, and transaction volume. Deploy, monitor, and manage POS terminals within the state. Visit agents and merchants regularly to provide support and resolve issues. Identify and reactivate inactive or underperforming agents and terminals. Train agents and merchants on Xpress products, services, and processes. Build strong relationships with agents, aggregators, merchants, and other stakeholders. Support the resolution of transaction, settlement, terminal, and operational complaints. Monitor competitors and identify new business opportunities within the state. Prepare and submit regular performance and field activity reports. Ensure agents and merchants comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Previous experience: in agency banking, fintech, POS operations, field sales, merchant acquisition, or financial services. Good understanding of agent and merchant network management. Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets. Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and digital reporting tools. Good knowledge of Maiduguri and other commercial areas within Borno State. Willingness to travel regularly within the state. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Hausa or Kanuri.
