St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Medical Doctor to join our clinical team. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Adhere strictly to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines. Respond promptly to medical emergencies. Educate patients and families on preventive health measures and treatment plans. Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings. Perform minor medical and surgical procedures as required. Admit, manage, and discharge patients appropriately. Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and diagnosis of patients. Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and management plans. Participate in continuous professional development and hospital training programs. Education: & Professional Requirements: MBBS / MBChB Degree from a recognized institution Completion of Housemanship Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council NYSC discharge or exemption certificate Valid practicing license Experience: 2–10 years post-NYSC clinical experience: (preferred) Experience: in a hospital setting is an added advantage Experience: in emergency care, obstetrics, pediatrics, or general practice is desirable Other Requirements: Respect for patient confidentiality Good physical and mental stamina.
