The role involves monitoring overdue loan accounts, negotiating repayment arrangements, conducting recovery visits, and maintaining accurate recovery. Min Qualification: HND Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Monitor overdue loan accounts and follow up with customers to ensure prompt repayment. Implement effective loan recovery strategies to minimize delinquency and reduce non-performing loans. Conduct field visits to customers, guarantors, and business locations to facilitate loan recovery. Negotiate repayment plans with defaulting customers in line with the Bank's recovery policies. Maintain accurate records of recovery activities, customer engagements, and repayment arrangements. Prepare periodic loan recovery and portfolio performance reports. Liaise with internal departments and external recovery agents where necessary to facilitate recoveries. Ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies, recovery procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Requirements: Minimum of an HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years'experience in loan recovery, credit administration, collections, or a similar role within a microfinance bank or other financial institution. Sound knowledge of loan recovery processes, credit risk management, and collection techniques. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle difficult recovery situations with professionalism and tact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.High level of integrity, resilience, and result orientation. Willingness to undertake regular field visits for loan recovery activities.
