We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: IT Manager Location: Abuja (FCT) Reports to: General Manager Direct Reports: IT Support Officers Main Function The IT Manager oversees the hotel's information technology infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations across all departments. Role Responsibilities: Systems & Infrastructure: Oversee hardware and software procurement, installation, and maintenance. Manage and maintain the Property Management System (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS), and other operational systems. Administer hotel network, servers, and telecommunications infrastructure. Plan and implement system upgrades and integrations. Security & Data Protection: Promote staff awareness of cybersecurity and data protection best practices. Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect hotel and guest data. Ensure regular data backups and a functioning disaster recovery plan. Support & Vendor Management: Provide IT support and training to hotel staff. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Prepare and manage the IT department budget. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA, ITIL) are an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5 years' IT management experience; experience: with hotel PMS/POS systems is preferred.
