Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Osun, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Emergency and Primary Care: Immediate Response: Act as the first responder for accidents, injuries, and medical emergencies on-site. First Aid & Treatment: Administer first aid, wound care, and over-the-counter medications for minor, work-related illnesses or injuries. Patient Stabilization: Ensure injured personnel are stabilized before emergency transport or a medical practitioner arrives. Health Monitoring and Referrals: Daily Consultations: Attend to workers who visit the on-site clinic for general health concerns or routine check-ups. R eferral Management: Assess cases that require advanced medical attention and arrange referrals to retainer clinics or Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). Health Assessments: Conduct periodic health examinations and monitor employees' vital signs. Workplace Safety and Compliance: Hazard Identification: Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, such as toolbox and HSE meetings. Environmental Inspections: Ensure the work environment complies with local health and safety standards. Equipment Management: Periodically inspect first-aid boxes, ensure stretchers are available, and ensure adequate medical supplies are always in stock. Administration and Education: Record Keeping: Document all employee injuries, illnesses, and treatments while ensuring strict medical confidentiality. Health Education: Organize wellness programs, disease prevention seminars, and first-aid training for site workers. Report Generation: Prepare periodic medical reports and submit them to site management Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Site Nurse. Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees. Assess, treat, and refer patients to appropriate healthcare facilities when necessary. Maintain the site clinic, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical inventory. Willingness to reside at the project site where applicable.
