We are seeking a creative, skilled, and detail-driven Journalism Videographer / Video Editor to join our media team in Portharcourt. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, has strong news judgment, and is capable of producing high-quality video content for broadcast, digital, and social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: Edit video content using professional editing software (e.g., Filmora, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) Maintain and organize video equipment and media assets Stay updated on current events and respond quickly to breaking news assignments Capture high-quality video footage for news, documentaries, interviews, and feature stories Ensure all video content meets editorial standards and deadlines Collaborate with reporters, editors, and producers to develop compelling visual narratives Operate cameras, lighting, sound, and other production equipment such as video switcher, Teleprompter Requirements: Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills Proven experience: as a videographer, preferably in a televison studioor media environment Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video journalism work.
