Collaboration with the Project Team, Affiliate Operations, and Contractor to ensure requirements: for start-up activities and continuous operations are clearly understood and adhered to. Leadership to ensure project priorities of safety, quality, and schedule are achieved. Detailed knowledge of operating facilities and applicable processes to put in place to manage risk. Start-Up Discipline Specialist (Rotating Machinery, Electrical, Process, Document Control Services (DCS), Instrument) focus on field execution of the start-up activities. Tasks and Responsibilities: In addition to all Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2: Provide unit specific expertise during planning and to the production coordinators during start-up. Development and execution of downstream start-up procedures to ensure a safe and efficient start-up of the project Integrated assets. Act as the focal point for interfacing with the Operations, Integrated Commissioning, and Facility Engineering Teams to ensure a safe and effective planning and execution of start-up activities. Work with start-up coordinator & Start-up Manager to ensure that OE/IIF expectations are met. Support the Start-Up Manager in the development and execution of the project Start-Up Plan. Skills and Qualifications Knowledgeable of Project Completions activities and typical commissioning practices including typical Systems Completion Database software (e.g., WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, Orbit). Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience. Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others. Proficient in Work Management Systems. Candidate must have at least 7 years of experience: in the oil and gas industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs. Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps. Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities. Previous experience: in a closely related position.
